What is Flavay?

Flavay® is the authentic, standardized and isolated, singular polyphenol complex defined, patented and discovered by Dr. Jack Masquelier, inventor of U.S. Patent No. 4,698,360.

Flavay® is not a simple bioflavonoid (this is important because many are non-bioavailable). Flavay® is comprised of pairs and triples of a specific molecule called, “flavan-3-ol.” This highly defined, polyphenol complex now known as Flavay® is proven fully bioavailable, safe and effective by numerous human studies, manufactured in France and used worldwide since 1950.

Flavay® consists of a highly specialized, nutritional complex of pairs and triples of a specific molecule called “flavan-3-ol,” isolated from natural extracts. This polyphenol complex, now known as Flavay®, has been extensively tested and examined clinically for biological antioxidant protection, collagen strengthening, tissue rebuilding, and other health-producing outcomes.

Highly reactive as an antioxidant in both lipid (fat) and aqueous (water) phases, Flavay® neutralizes oxygen free radicals and is a valuable protector of healthy cells in a variety of internal conditions. This is a unique property among antioxidants, as most work either in lipid or aqueous phases, but not both. Research shows that Flavay® can regulate nitric oxide and quench superoxide and the hydroxyl radical. This is extremely important. Of all the free radicals formed in the body, the hydroxyl radical is the most dangerous because it can directly attack DNA.
