FLAVAY PLUS® utilizes the dynamic interplay among the antioxidants and their co-factor nutrients with a synergistic blend of Flavay®, antioxidant vitamins and minerals, and phytonutrients; formulated to boost the brain and immune functions—thereby benefiting the whole body.

PHOSPHATIDYL SERINE: A naturally occurring fatty acid in the brain, the PHOSPHATIDYL SERINE in Flavay Plus® is a natural complex of phospholipid nutrients and fatty acids derived from soy lecithin. Thousands of published research papers, including many published in peer-reviewed mainstream scientific journals, at least 64 of which were clinical studies on humans, show that PHOSPHATIDYL SERINE supplementation works consistently for the brain and benefits virtually every brain function. By boosting membrane functions in cells throughout the brain, PS seems to boost many nerve transmitters while simultaneously boosting their coordinated effects across the entire brain.

GINKGO BILOBA: The standardized extract of the ginkgo leaves has been shown to be beneficial in a broad range of conditions, including those involved with circulation, blood conditions, metabolism, immune function, varicose conditions, and post-thrombotic syndrome. It has been shown to help with short-term memory improvement (especially in older populations), and cognitive disorders secondary to depression, among other conditions. Flavay Plus® uses the clinically proven optimum ratios of standardized ginkgo leaf extract that were used in the breakthrough study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

GABA: One of the most abundant neurotransmitters in the brain, some people with anxiety, panic disorders, and depression may not manufacture sufficient levels of GABA.

VITAMIN A (as mixed Beta-carotenes): The preferred form of vitamin A, beta-carotene is converted into vitamin A only as the body needs it. What isn’t converted to vitamin A remains as a powerful antioxidant, shown to be a cancer preventative, to help strengthen the immune system, to reduce the risk of atherosclerosis, heart attack and stroke, and protect against macular degeneration and the formation of cataracts. Flavay Plus® provides the highest quality, full-spectrum, patented Betatene®, a complete array of plant-derived, antioxidant carotenoids: beta-carotene, alpha-carotene, cryptoxanthin, zeaxanthin, lutein, and lycopene.

VITAMIN B-1 (Thiamin): Plays an essential role in the metabolism of carbohydrates in the body, improves mental attitude, and keeps the nervous system, muscles and heart functioning normally. Inadequate intake may result in mental illness and some psychiatrists use vitamin B-1 for various emotional and psychiatric illnesses, oftentimes with medication.

VITAMIN B-2 (Riboflavin): Assists in energy metabolism, fatty and amino acid synthesis. Vitamin B-2 is needed for tissue repair and is sometimes called the “growth vitamin.” Inadequate intake may cause depression, moodiness, nervousness, and irritability.

VITAMIN B-3 (Niacinamide): A coenzyme in several important biochemical functions, particularly for the nervous system, healthy skin and gastrointestinal tract. Some of the early symptoms of Vitamin B-3 deficiency include apprehension, irritability, depression, weakness and loss of memory--all nervous system-related disorders. These symptoms may be followed by disorientation, confusion and hysteria. Because of its importance to the nervous system, many practitioners use Vitamin B-3 in conjunction with other medications in the treatment of mental disorders such as anxiety, nervousness, depression, and even schizophrenia.

VITAMIN B-5 (Pantothenic Acid as D-Ca Pantothenate; which is 92 percent pantothenic acid and 8 percent calcium): Ths vitamin has long been considered the “anti-stress” vitamin. Deficiencies in humans cause headache, fatigue, insomnia and nervous system-related symptoms such as anxiety and depression. Vitamin B-5 is used in nerve transmissions and in the production of hormones that control reactions to emotional and physical stress, and the fight or flight response. Some studies show that Vitamin B-5 helps delay the onset of fatigue, especially when combined with the other members of the B complex. Vitamin B-5 has also been proven vital to the immune system and in metabolizing fats.

VITAMIN B-6 (Pyridoxine): Involved in the metabolism of amino acids (the building blocks of proteins) and of essential fatty acids, the nervous system is dependent on vitamin B-6 for the production of GABA and neurotransmitters in the brain, such as serotonin and dopamine. It may be difficult for men and women to obtain even the RDAs from food; and stress, medications, smoking, and pollutants raise the B-6 requirement. Inadequate intake is associated with depression, confusion, dizziness, insomnia, irritability, and nervousness.

VITAMIN B-12 (Cyanocobalamin): Helps the body to utilize fats, carbohydrates and protein; and to maintain a healthy nervous system. Vitamin B-12 increases energy, relieves irritability, and improves concentration, memory and balance. Vitamin B-12 also helps the body to form and regenerate red blood cells and to break down homocysteine, lowering the risk of heart disease. In children, B-12 supports growth.

VITAMIN C: Water-soluble, a potent free radical scavenger, recycles vitamin E, plays a primary role in the formation of collagen, prevents oxidation of LDL cholesterol, and it is essential for a strong immune system. Controlled studies prove the contribution of vitamin C to the prevention and treatment of infectious, degenerative and stress diseases, to resistance against pollution and to its supportive role in the manufacture of white blood cells and interferon. FLAVAY® PLUS with BIOMOR™ brand vitamin C can maintain vitamin C levels in the body for up to 72 hours. Your body needs high levels of vitamin C when under stress. Scientists have discovered that human adrenal glands cannot synthesize hormones without the essential vitamin C. Normally, adrenal glands are high in vitamin C (ascorbic acid) but both physical and mental stress deplete the adrenal glands of vitamin C and research shows that supplementation can dramatically accelerate recovery. While most people may know the human body does not manufacture vitamin C, they may not realize how quickly this essential antioxidant becomes oxidized and is excreted by the body. Until now, one had to consume it several times throughout the day to obtain vitamin C’s optimal health benefits. BIOMOR™ brand vitamin C is far superior because once-a-day use provides your body with vitamin C protection all-day, as it naturally recycles vitamin C in your body by utilizing the synergistic interplay between the antioxidant and its co-factor nutrient, FLAVAY®.
